Luke Bryan Announces New Album and 2020 Tour

The country star aims for his 5th straight #1

January 17, 2020

Luke Bryan will go for his fifth consecutive number one country album when he unveils Born Here, Live Here, Die Here this year.

Bryan announced his seventh studio LP, featuring the singles “Knockin’ Boots” and “What She Wants Tonight,” will be released on April 24th. Along with the album announcement, the 43-year-old detailed his accompanying 2020 Proud to Be Here tour.

“‘Proud to be right here’ is a phrase from my new album’s title track, Bryan explained. “From the moment I first heard it, I loved that this song related so closely to how I grew up and how I still have so many ties to my hometown. It’s a connection I feel is so important in country music. I am truly so thankful to have the opportunity to make music for my fans and to look out into the crowds each night from stage and be proud of what we’ve created.”

Joining Bryan on the tour for most dates are “Whiskey Glasses” singer Morgan Wallen and Caylee Hammack. Runaway June will jump on-board from August 4th to October 10th.

“I’ve been watching what Morgan is building with his fans and it has been so fun to watch!” Bryan said. “I know with him, Caylee and Runaway June on this tour it’s going to be such a high energy night for everyone.”

Before the new album and tour arrive, Bryan can be seen back in the judge’s chair on "American Idol." The new season begins on February 16th on ABC.
